Coque Tail Fringe 6" Spray Painted The Feather Fringe is made using 1st Grade Dyed Iridescent Black Coque Tail Feathers that have been spray painted with a special metallic paint in shades of Gold, Silver or Copper. The image alongside has been spray painted with the copper paint.
The feathers are Cleaned, Dyed (Black), Sized, Sorted and Cut at uniform lengths of Approx. 6" or 15cm before being spray painted as shown in the image alongside using a specially developed spraying technique which does not alter the look and feel of the feather in any way. .
Dyeing them Black gives them an even coloration and the final fringe looks perfect in all respects.
The cut Feathers are then placed between specially made Satin Bias tapes having a dual side adhesive layer.
The final fringe is further reinforced (So the feathers do not fall out) with a machine stitch. The Unit offered is 1 Yard.
